Calendar security

We take data security and privacy for your calendar and account information very seriously. We are always making sure the My Church Events website and databases are up to date with the latest security patches to protect against any current and future security threats.

The types of security for data transfer, backup and storage depend on the type of data:

• All credit card information is encrypted to comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) and is stored with a certified PCI Level 1 Service Provider. We do not store credit card information on our servers. 

• All other data transfer is done via TLS/HTTPS protocols.

• All servers run on industry-leading cloud platforms. 

• Customer Data is stored on an industry leading provider system. The data is geographically replicated and backed up so it can be restored in the unfortunate chance it's needed. All data is stored domestically in the United States and protected via a firewall, as well as threat detection and mitigation systems.

We do not share your account or member information with other companies. 

Our target is to always maintain a 100% up-time, but do have occasional outages from upstream providers or downtime from maintenance--run typically during lowest traffic times when we are unable to re-direct traffic to another location or server. We are consistently running at greater than 99% up-time.
