Add an Events Widget to Your Website

Use the website widget to add a list of upcoming events to your church website, such as your home page, so members can quickly see what’s coming up.

1. From your Dashboard, choose Embed Website.

   You can also open this page from the left menu by selecting Website Plugin, or from Share Calendar by using the Create your plug-in code snippet link near the bottom of the page.

2. On the Embed Website page, select the Widget tab.

   The Full Calendar tab is for embedding the full calendar. The Widget tab is for adding a smaller list of upcoming events.

3. In Display Options, choose what you want the widget to show:
   • All Events or Selected Interest Groups
   • The time period to display, such as Today or Today spanning a set number of days
   • The widget Width and Height in pixels
4. Select Save & Preview to preview the widget.

5. In the Preview Code box, select the copy button. Then paste the code into the page on your church website where you want the events widget to appear.

Note: The widget code includes the display settings you selected, such as interest groups, date range, width, and height. Your events will continue to update from your calendar, but if you want to change what the widget displays, return to Embed Website > Widget, choose new settings, select Save & Preview, and replace the old code on your website with the new code.
